Womanhood

This piece reclaims not just the figure of a woman,
but the space she holds between
what is seen
and what is hidden from the eyes.

To be woman,
in this language,
is not a role
but a tribute —
to cycles, to gentleness,
to finding strength in the darkness —
like roots,
like breathing,
like knowing.

She is not a figure.
She is a rhythm —
felt more than seen,
called more than named.

Bound by matter and thought,
the breath of being,
threaded with the living force that shapes line, river, and dream —
an unseen current that connects the inner and outer worlds.

The piece “Womanhood” is a visual contribution to the Reclaiming Her project by Carolina Perez-Moreno. To me, She is a priestess, her body is a shrine.
