Hello

Touching the Soul

How do you know when a turning point in your creative development happens?
You just do.
When it arrives, you feel it — not as a flash of inspiration or a brilliant idea, but as a deep sense of calm and rightness. It settles quietly into the places that once felt restless or uncertain.

There are moments when sharing art feels uncomfortable, even frightening. Often, that discomfort arises when a work doesn’t yet feel fully yours. You might be searching for a new expression — one that demands honesty, courage, and trust. For me, that moment came when two opposing forces asked to exist in one space, in a harmony I had never imagined possible.

The Spark of Change

My artist-soul whispers began while watching the organic flow of printing inks — how their colours mixed and spread across my workspace in unpredictable ways. I was mesmerized by the energy within those movements and shades. To explore that power from a new perspective, I picked up painting. It became a way to rediscover my authentic visual voice, to listen more closely to my intuition.

Hello — The Return to Self

Hello marks this awakening. Created during a time of personal transformation, it represents a reconnection to myself — body, mind, and spirit. While painting, I felt both free and deeply grounded. Every decision was guided by intuition: sometimes using a spatula, other times a thin stick dipped in paint, or simply my fingers.

The process began with a soft grey background — cloudy, gentle, and mysterious. Then came the spark: vibrant strokes of fluorescent orange, fire meeting air. The gestures formed around an open space, waiting for one final, honest act. I dipped my fingers into the paint and touched the canvas — and in that moment, I touched my soul. I said hello to me.

Listening to the Whispers

Sometimes your subconscious calls out softly, disguised as a small impulse — buy that ridiculous fluorescent orange paint. My advice: don’t ignore it.

Those hunches are invitations. They are the whispers guiding you toward a more authentic version of yourself. When you listen and respond, you create from truth — and that truth touches the soul.

A Final Reflection

Hello taught me that creativity is not about control — it’s about trust. When you surrender to intuition, art becomes more than expression; it becomes communion. Each gesture, each colour, is a way of saying yes to yourself, again and again.
