A young woman: called Kaya Heyman with brown hair wearing a yellow sweater, holding a pen, standing in front of a wall with architectural sketches and drawings. Artist and designer with an architectural background, offering art for sale and teaching.

Hi there! I’m Kaya — an artist, educator, and intuitive creator based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands.

Art and creativity have always been my way of connecting with the world, and I see myself as both a teacher and a lifelong student on this path.

Currently, I’m developing my own practice in art and meditative drawing education. I hold an MSc in Architecture from TU Eindhoven, where I occasionally teach architectural drawing and design.

Through my work, I aim to create spaces — on paper and in life — where intuition, imagination, and healing come together.

I’m Kaya, Artist and Drawing Teacher

I channel transformation through creative practice. I guide visual seekers back to their inner world — through symbolic art and intuitive drawing.

My lessons are not just about learning how to draw. They’re about slowing down, coming back to your body, and discovering how creative practice can quiet down your inner critic by activating the right side of your brain.

With a background in architecture, I offer strong foundations in perspective and spatial imagination. And for those who love tactile work, I also teach linocut — a hands-on printmaking technique that connects you directly to material, rhythm, and presence.

We can meet online, or in my art studio in Den Bosch.

Curious? Explore my current workshops at studio.spoko (Amsterdam), view my latest works, or sign up for the newsletter.
